In Austria, Grüner Veltliner is as much a part of the national culture as classical music, elegant coffee houses, and competitive body-building. For years, Grüner was bottled in a liter-sized bottle with a crown cap – intended for fresh, immediate consumption and for sharing among friends. Although all iterations of this grape are quickly gaining notoriety in the United States, it is still the no-fuss, utilitarian liter “house wines” that remain the most popular.

“Getränk” was a collaboration between Massanois Imports and Weingut Dürnberg in the village of Falkenstein.

Stringtown was born of the need in the market for affordable, high-quality domestic Pinot Noir. It was important that this brand stand out as something more ‘serious’ in a field crowded with poor design quality at this price point. Stringtown was done as a collaboration with Massanois Imports and Eugene Wine Cellars.
